Q & A

Cate Dixon

What did you do before you decided to become a writer?

After college, I worked in television and radio news. From there I worked various jobs: marketing at an insurance company, direct sales, cleaned houses, nursery worker (plants not children), and community college instructor. There were other jobs in between those, but I have forgotten them. My longest gig has been as a wife to my high school sweetheart and mother to my two wonderful grown sons.

What genres do you like to read?

Romance, of course. I read all kinds of romance: contemporary, suspense, comedy, erotica, paranormal and historical. I also like mystery and suspense especially those involving a handsome spy and impossible life death situations.

How would you describe yourself?

An optimist, adventurer, music lover, reader, organized, quiet, playful and funny.

What kind of music do you listen to?

First choice would be Indie/Alternative. After that, I will listen to everything and anything. It depends on my mood. And since I am a woman, my moods change every day. Okay, sometimes, every hour
